Pediatric Consultation Services

Home consultation in Gran Alacant and surrounding areas

Dr. Katia Herrera will come to your home with all the necessary materials to properly evaluate your child. She will perform a medical history, physical examination, diagnosis, and treatment, if necessary.

After the consultation, you will receive by email:

  • Medical report
  • Electronic or PDF prescription (if necessary)
  • Written recommendations
  • Invoice (optional)

Additionally, WhatsApp follow-up of the reason for the consultation is included.

Frequent reasons for consultation:

  • Newborns: feeding, umbilical cord, coloration, skin lesions.
  • Infants: colic, allergies, reflux, constipation, vaccines, growth.
  • Respiratory and digestive infections, fever, conjunctivitis, otitis, etc.
  • Dermatology, respiratory, neurology, endocrinology, locomotor.
  • Second pediatric opinions.

Available tests: urine strips, rapid strep test, rapid Covid/Flu test, dermatoscopic diagnosis.

Important: We do not handle emergencies. If necessary, call 112 or go to the nearest health center.

Pediatric Consultation by Video Call

From anywhere, you can consult with Dr. Katia Herrera via video call (30 minutes). You'll receive guidance, diagnosis, and treatment whenever possible.

It is recommended for:

  • Minor skin lesions
  • Questions about recent fever or medications
  • Advice on development, feeding or sleep
  • Monitoring chronic diseases
  • Assessment of analysis or second opinions

Limitations: Physical examinations and diagnostic tests are not permitted. Not suitable for emergency use.

Before the consultation, you will receive a link to perform the secure online payment by WhatsApp or email.

Rates

  • Home consultation: €70 (Monday to Friday) / €80 (weekends and holidays)
  • Online consultation: €30 for a 30-minute video call consultation
  • Additional patient (sibling): +30 € on the same visit

Dr. Katia also offers 30-minute video consultations for guidance, diagnosis and treatment when physical evaluation is not necessary.

Recommended for: skin issues, medication questions, fever without alarming signs, developmental doubts, test result reviews, and chronic disease follow-up.

Limitations: No physical exams or diagnostic tests. Not for emergencies.
